Things to do in St. George’s
Grenada offers more than just sun and sand for beach seekers. You can also learn about the history of the area at the Grenada National Museum or tour nearby historic sites like Fort George or Fort Frederick. Make your trip memorable with these exciting activities:
Scuba Diving – With a scuba shop located on site, you can easily embark on an underwater adventure through the Caribbean’s colourful reefs. Let a PADI scuba instructor take you out to sea where you can explore the largest shipwreck in the Caribbean.
Grand Etang National Park – Experience a change of scenery from the sands of Grand Anse Beach when you visit this park about a 30-minute drive from the hotel. Discover a bright blue lake and lush rainforests with hiking trails of various lengths and difficulty levels at Grand Etang National Park, situated at the base of an extinct volcano.
Grenada Hash House Harriers – If you like rum and running, then meet the Grenada Hash House Harriers at a designated rum shop on Saturdays at 3 p.m. There, anywhere from 50 to a few hundred runners and walkers of all ages and skill levels convene to explore Grenada’s most beautiful terrain on foot. Upon the hash master’s signal, the group takes off on a trail marked by flour and shredded paper that eventually circles back to a drinking hole.
