Things to do around San Isidro, Lima
Stroll the peaceful, beautiful streets of San Isidro. The district offers numerous shops and restaurants yet avoids the tourist vibe of neighboring Miraflores, which is just eight miles away. Visit these nearby attractions:
Huaca Huallamarca – One of the few existing pre-Incan cultural sites in Peru, this reconstructed adobe complex also goes by the name “Sugar Bread” because of its appearance. About half a mile from the hotel, this attraction includes an excellent museum where you can see mummies found at the site.
Palacio de Torre Tagle – About two miles from the Radisson, this colonial house presents one of the most beautiful examples of early 18th-century architecture in Lima. While the interior is not open to the public, the exterior features an exquisite hand-carved wooden balcony and provides ample material for photographers and architecture buffs.
Museo Oro del Perú – Only six miles away, this private museum boasts several collections of artifacts from Peru and around the world. View the array of gold items drawn from Peru’s various ancient cultures, and then check out the weapons or textile displays.
