Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal – Watch and learn as vessels travel through one of three locks along the Panama Canal, about five miles from our hotel. The visitors center on the east side provides a full view of the Miraflores Locks as well as intriguing information about this man-made canal’s history.
El Casco Antiguo – About 12 miles from the hotel, this World Heritage Site is full of historic cathedrals, museums and homes. Discover local restaurants, shop for Panamanian mementos, and browse breathtaking architecture in this neighborhood also known as Casco Viejo. In the evening, attend a performance at the National Theatre, and then visit nearby bars and clubs to see the night come to life.
Amador Causeway – Located about half an hour from the hotel, the Amador Causeway connects four islands and offers an ideal place to watch ships enter the Panama Canal from the Pacific. Rent a bike and take a dazzling ride along this beautiful two-mile stretch.
