Things to do in Andheri
Travel about 25 kilometres to see a theatre production or dance performance at the National Centre for the Performing Arts or to browse a vast collection of artefacts at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, formerly the Prince of Wales Museum. For fun closer to the Radisson, check out these nearby attractions:
Mahakali Caves – Walk or make the short two-kilometre drive to Mahakali Caves, a group of 19 rock-cut Buddhist monuments built beginning in the first century BC. Carved out of basalt rock, the monuments are showing signs of wear, but still offer a peaceful place to take photographs and admire their construction.
ISKCON Juhu – Situated on a four-acre Hare Krishna compound near Juhu Beach, ISKCON Juhu, also known as Sri Sri Radharasabihari Temple, hosts spiritual programs and features elaborate marble construction. Explore the auditorium, the restaurant and the twin-towered, seven-storey guest house. The temple is just under five kilometres from the hotel.
Juhu Beach – Dig your toes into the sand at Juhu Beach, or climb aboard a horse-drawn carriage for a ride past the nearby shops. Located just six kilometres from the hotel, this popular tourist destination provides a great place to watch planes take off from and land at Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport.
